Highly automated or even autonomous systems are a giga-trend of today. This especially holds for the maritime domain where highly automated and autonomous vessels together with corresponding traffic control systems and port systems are one of the major drivers of research and development. Since these systems form a completely new class of systems, which cannot be completely specified, new methods and tools for the verification and validation of these systems are needed. The MARISSA Day 6 will give an overview of future approaches for assuring trustworthiness for autonomous maritime systems.
