Canada is Guest of Honour at MARISSA 2024

During the next international MARISSA Symposium, Canada will be represented by deputies, companies, and organizations out of the blue economy sector. In the context of this year's H2O conference held in Halifax (Canada) representative from ACOA, OTCNS, GMT, the Canadian Embassy in Berlin and MARISSA have agreed to take the opportunity of MARISSA 2024 to present Canadian organizations and give the chance of cooperation and business opportunities in maritime safety and security applications. Canada as well as German and European companies has a diverse portfolio of advanced technologies in this area.


Gordon Gale, Christopher Bourque, both OTCNS, Doug Phelan and Cathy Williams from ACOA Petra Mahnke GMT Enrico Nake from the Embassy of Canada and Corina Pfaehler, BALance and MARISSA agreed to represent Canada with technological projects and solutions in the extensive maritime safety and security areas: maritime traffic, maritime infrastructures, maritime environment, and maritime processes & value chains.


During an intensive H2O Conference and COVE-Demonstration Day already some companies expressed their interest in their participation at the international MARISSA Symposium in June 2024.
